Véronique Goudin discovered the piano at the age of eight at the École Nationale de Musique in Agen, where she was awarded a gold medal at fourteen. She continued her studies at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Bordeaux, receiving gold and honorary medals in piano, oboe, English horn, and chamber music. At seventeen, she was appointed accompanist at the same institution.
From 1995 to 2009, Véronique Goudin taught at the Bordeaux Conservatoire. Since 2001, she has held the position of accompanist at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon and, since 2010, at the Haute École de Musique in Lausanne. She regularly works as a guest musician or accompanist with various French and Swiss orchestras, including the Orchestre National de Lyon, the Paris Opera Orchestra, the Orchestre National Bordeaux-Aquitaine, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, and the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne. From 1998 to 2006, she was the pianist of the ensemble Musique Nouvelle de Bordeaux under the direction of Michel Fusté Lambezat.
Véronique Goudin is a regular guest at festivals in France and Europe, including Sbalz and Brassurround organized by Spanish Brass Luur Metalls, as well as international competitions such as the Philip Jones International Trumpet Competition, the Guebwiller and Maurice André Competitions in Paris, and the Geneva Oboe Competition. She is also the pianist of the Jacques-Thibaud Trio of Bordeaux, with which she won first prize at the Pianello Val Tidone International Chamber Music Competition in Italy (June 2005) and second prize at the Charles Hennen International Competition in the Netherlands (May 2006).
