About

Félix Froschhammer is the first violinist of the casalQuartett, concertmaster of the Ensemble Symphonique Neuchâtel and the Sinfonietta de Lausanne, violin professor at the HEMU, and artistic director of the Festival du Jura. His international career has taken him from the Lucerne Festival and the Gstaad Menuhin Festival to Tokyo, Shanghai, and Paris.

As a member of the ensemble Tri i Dve, he also explores the music of the Balkans. His recordings for Warner Classics, Solo Musica, and ArcoDiva have received numerous awards.

Born in Munich, he made his debut at the age of ten with the Münchner Rundfunkorchester and studied with Pierre Amoyal and Salvatore Accardo, earning a Master of Solo Performance in Lausanne with the highest honors.
