Moldovan violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja, a virtuoso and imaginative violinist, has seen her strong artistic personality quickly establish itself on the international scene. Today, she can be heard from the Berlin Philharmonic to Carnegie Hall in New York, Paris and Tokyo. Her eclectic repertoire ranges from baroque to contemporary creation, with a strong emphasis on chamber music. Also, the violinist recorded some very beautiful opuses for the label Naïve, unanimously greeted with enthusiasm by the critics.

Patricia Kopatchinskaja plays a Giovanni Francesco Pressenda violin from 1834.
