About

The violinist Sergej Krylov, born into a family of musicians, saw his career launched when he won first prize in the 1998 Stradivari Competition in Cremona and then, in 2000, first prize in the Fritz Kreisler Competition in Vienna. Since his debut, he has performed with most of the major European orchestras, while at the same time pursuing a career as a teacher, holding a chair of violin at the Lugano Music School. Since 2008, Sergej Krylov has also been artistic director of the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra.
