Week 2 : +50 students, 7 professors and 11 concerts
For its second week, from 20 to 26 July, the Tibor Varga Academy welcomes more than 50 students and seven professors, who will bring to life wonderful pages of music with the strings of their violins, violas, double basses and harps, or with the sound of their bassoons, including several works composed during the 20th century.
Come and watch (and listen to) them at work during two special public masterclasses on Thursday, 23 July, and applaud them throughout the 11 concerts taking place this week! We particularly recommend the final contemporary music concert on Friday, 24 July at the Fondation Louis Moret: Swiss composer William Blank will passionately guide you through this rich musical universe!
In addition, Axel Benoît (bassoon), Jean Sulem (viola) and Emese Mali (piano) will inaugurate this year’s series of Professors’ Concerts. Join them on Sunday, 26 July at the Fondation Louis Moret.
