Dmitry Sinkovsky is a violinist, singer and conductor. Winner of the Musica Antiqua (2008) and Romanus Weichlein (2009) competitions, he quickly led a busy career with numerous baroque orchestras, such as the Helsinki Baroque Orchestra and Il Giardino Armonico. In 2011, he formed his own ensemble, La Voce Strumentale, with which he now travels the great European and North American stages. Since February 2022, Dmitry Sinkovsky has been appointed Principal Conductor of the Nizhny Novgorod Opera. He plays a Francesco Ruggeri violin from 1675.
