About

Dmitry Yablonsky, cellist and conductor, was born in Moscow into a family of musicians. A child prodigy, he made his public debut at the age of nine. Since that first appearance, a rich career has taken him to the most mythical stages (Carnegie Hall, Scala, Palais du Louvre, …), alongside leading artists such as Boris Berezovsky, Vadim Repin, or Monserrat Caballé and Roberto Alagna. Music Director of the Kyiv Virtuosi Orchestra, Dmitry Yablonsky has recorded several albums, warmly received by the critics, with the Ukrainian phalanx. Since the fall of 2016, he has also been teaching at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University.
