The 4th Tibor Junior Competition is fast approaching! Pavel Vernikov initiated this project to give young violinists aged between 14 and 17 the chance to compete in a friendly educational environment. On 19 August, at the brand new Pôle Musique in Sion, a draw will determine the order in which the candidates will appear.

As a rare treat, our young artists will have the chance to play with an orchestra at every stage of the competition, from the first round to the final! This year, they will be accompanied by the South Czech Philharmonic. Exploring a vast repertoire, the young violinists will also be playing in duets, notably with mezzo-soprano Marie-Claude Chappuis, a member of the jury, during the final. Chaired by Pavel Vernikov, an exceptional jury will listen to all our candidates with the utmost attention. This international jury will then be joined by the violinists not selected in the subsequent stages, who will demonstrate great impartiality in this demanding task.
