Jennifer Stumm is a celebrated violist and artistic director known for her expressive playing and innovative projects blending music and social advocacy. A winner of the William Primrose, Geneva, and Concert Artists Guild competitions, she has performed at venues like Carnegie Hall and the Berliner Philharmonie.

In 2022-23, she tours the UK and Ireland, debuts in the Concertgebouw’s large hall, and releases an album with São Paulo Chamber Soloists. She also appears at the Lucerne Festival with The Nature of Light.

As the founder of Ilumina, a São Paulo-based collective promoting equity in music, she connects top international soloists with emerging Latin American talent. A sought-after speaker, she has presented at NASA and Ecosystems 2030. Her TEDx talk The Imperfect Instrument became a viral success.

Jennifer has recorded two acclaimed albums and won awards like the BBC New Generation Artist. She is a professor in Vienna and London and is dedicated to mentoring young musicians. Born in Atlanta, she studied at the Curtis Institute and Juilliard School. She plays a 1589 Gasparo da Salò viola.
