About
Lionel Chapuis studied at the Conservatories of Sion, Lausanne and Fribourg and obtained professional diplomas in accordion, piano, instrumental conducting and music teaching in secondary and higher schools. His activity is multiple. As a teacher, he gives courses in keyboard harmony at the HEMU Vaud-Valais-Fribourg and teaches music at the Cycle d’orientation de la Gruyère. As a director, he leads the Club des Accordéonistes de la ville de Bulle, the Brass Band of Albeuve-Enney and the Orchestre des Accordéonistes de la Suisse Francophone, of which he is also the founder. As a soloist, he can be regularly applauded in Switzerland and farther afield, in various projects.
