About
Lisa Biard studied accordion and wind band conducting at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne. She obtained her master’s degree in 2013, winning a double prize for her recital and her thesis, and was appointed professor of accordion and musical language at the Conservatoire Cantonal de Sion.
Very active, keen on composition and arrangements, she works on a rich repertoire often marked by her own unique touch (Duo Liyu, Bliss project, etc). In 2018, she was invited by the Béjart Ballet de Lausanne for a production of The Nutcracker and joined the company on tour for this production. In September 2020, she will start a second master’s degree in music theory and writing (HEM Geneva).
