About

Maria Ioudenitch was born in Russia. She was three years old when her parents, both musicians, moved to the United States – a country of which she would become a citizen. She received her first violin lessons in 2000 from Gregory Sandomirsky; in 2007, she attended the International Center for Music at Park University, where she was taught by Ben Sayevich; in 2014, she was admitted to the Curtis Institute and, since 2018, has been furthering her training at the New England Conservatory with Miriam Fried. In 2021, Maria Ioudenitch won the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition and the Joseph Joachim International Competition. She will release her first album this summer.
