Dear young musicians

This year, our Music Camp will take you to the Italian village of Felitto, south of Naples, for an unforgettable week of rehearsals, discoveries, and leisure activities from 15 to 22 July, with two concerts on site. You will then head back to the Valais, where new concerts and rehearsals will be held from 25 to 27 July.

You and your companions of musical adventurers will also take part in the Sion Festival’s day “Musique en fête” for a concert on 19 August (rehearsal on the evening of 18 August). So, please save these dates!

As in the past, the Music Camp will be led by Yuram Ruiz, who conducts the Orchestra of the Conservatoire Cantonal du Valais. For the week in Italy, he will be accompanied by teachers from the Conservatory and the “A Tempo” music school, including Valérie Bernard, Alejandra Cova, Magdalena Morosanu, Nadia Rigolet and Vérène Zay.

• You have until 23 February to register at the lowest rate of CHF 650.
• After this date, and until 28 April (registration deadline), you will pay CHF 750.
• If you are a student of the Conservatoire Cantonal, you will receive a discount of CHF 100.
• If you have the Caritas Culture Card, you will receive a 30% discount.
• You can also apply for a scholarship until 28 April.
