About

Born in St. Petersburg, Polina Leschenko began studying piano with her father at the age of six and made her flamboyant debut two years later with the Leningrad Orchestra. Graduating from the Brussels Conservatory at the age of 16, she has since then led a superb double career, a concert performer appreciated by the greatest orchestras, and a chamber musician surrounded by magnificent partners, such as Ivry Gitlis or Patricia Kopatchinskaja. Recognised for her versatility, her rich discography has been acclaimed by international critics and awarded numerous prizes – including a very beautiful Choc du Monde de la Musique in 2007.
