Week 3 : oboe, guitar and piano in the spotlight – 8 concerts
The Tibor Varga Academy enters its third week this Monday, 27 July, putting the oboe, guitar and piano in the spotlight. Their rich and varied sound worlds will be showcased across eight concerts, including two professors’ concerts.
Accompanied by two students, guitarist George Vassilev invites you to discover numerous pieces featuring the warm colours of Spanish music in a magical setting with exceptional acoustics: the St-Léonard Underground Lake (29 July). In the lush, light-filled setting of the Fondation Louis Moret, Jean-Louis Capezzali and Sophie Le Denmat on oboe will join forces with Hugo Crisci on English horn to present a varied programme spanning dance and opera (2 August).
