About
Sunny Lee is a founder and CEO of Seoul Central Conservatory and Artistic Director of the Ensemble M, and an honored professor at the Russia National Music Institute in Moscow as well as faculty of the Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School in Korea. After graduating from Seoul National University, she received Doctorate of Musical Art at the University of Washington, USA. Sunny was the last student of Issac Stern.
She performed as a soloist with many orchestras including Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, New Tokyo Chamber Orchestra, Beijing Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Mozart Orchestra, and Bayreuth Festival Chamber Orchestra.
Sunny has enthusiastically contributed teaching talented young violinists who distinguish themselves in major international competitions. Due to her remarkable reputation, she has served as a jury member at many concours including the Tchaikovsky International Competition for Young Artists, YSAYE International Music Competition, Piccolo Violino Magico International Competition, and the Tokyo Minato City International Music Competition.
