Baroque Music Summer Camp (Ages 10–17)
Would you like to experience a new musical adventure this summer? The Tibor Varga Academy’s Baroque Music Summer Camp invites young musicians aged 10 to 17, with a minimum of 3 years of practice, to discover the fascinating world of Baroque music. Through works by composers such as Bach, Vivaldi and Handel, participants explore a style that is expressive, contrasting and full of life, while learning the rules and techniques that shape this repertoire.
Guided by specialists in Baroque performance, young musicians develop their listening skills, stylistic awareness and the joy of making music together.

Professors
Participants are coached by a team of Baroque music specialists:
–Stéphanie Gurga — keyboard instruments, basso continuo and direction
–Cédric Meyer — plucked string instruments, basso continuo and co-direction
Camp programm
-Study of Baroque repertoire in individual lessons and ensemble rehearsals
-Introduction to Baroque style and techniques: basso continuo, ornamentation and historical performance practices
-Faculty concert and short recital performances
-Final concert with all participants
-Leisure activities and opportunities to meet other young musicians
