Anna Agafia Egholm studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and then at the Lausanne University of Music under Professors Alexandre Zapolski and Svetlana Makarova. In 2019, she obtained her Master’s degree in Lausanne.
The Dane has already won many prizes, including the Øresunds competitions in Denmark (2016) and the Ginette Neveu International Competition in Avignon (2017), where she also won the public prize. Recently, she won the third prize and a second “special” prize at the Carl Nielsen International Competition (2019). She has also been a Fellow of the prestigious Jacob Gade Foundation in Denmark.
Her budding career has seen her perform as a soloist with the Malmö Symphony Orchestra, the Bergen Philharmonic and the Odense Symphony Orchestra.
