Oboes on the air
Oboes on the airwaves, yes. Oboes whose varied tunes mingle with the murmur of the waters. Oboes, mischievous or melancholy, joyfully traversing the history of Western music, from the Baroque era (Bach, Telemann, Couperin) to the 21st century (Dubugnon), passing through classical precision (Mozart) and romantic lyricism (Tchaikovsky).
Curious and varied, this program moves from one era to another, from one atmosphere to another, as if to reveal the infinite richness of this sometimes little-known instrument. The architectural solidity of the canons, the melodic suppleness of Swan Lake, the ardor and modesty of a rarely performed Beethoven – there’s something for every ear!
Welcome to all, and happy listening.
