Federico Marchesano

Bassist, double bassist and composer from Turin, Federico Marchesano evolves in different musical territories, ranging from jazz to classical music, including rock. A graduate of the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin, he has had a successful career as a classical orchestral musician, playing with the Orchestra of the Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, the Orchestra of the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, and the Turin Philharmonic Orchestra, where he is principal double bass. In the field of jazz, Federico Marchesano has established close collaborations that have taken him to the four corners of the globe. He is also a regular member of the Quintetto Bislacco and the Filarmonici di Busseto. He teaches double bass at the Liceo Musicale Cavour in Turin.
