Pablo Ferrández entered the international music circuit by winning the 15th Tchaikovsky Competition – which quickly earned him an exclusive contract with the prestigious Sony Classical label. In March 2021, his first album, Reflections, was released. This opus, which won a Klassik Award in the ‘young artist of the year’ category, reflects on the unexpected links between the Spanish and Russian repertoires at the beginning of the 20th century. In recent years, Pablo Ferrández has been increasingly in demand by prestigious orchestras. He has recently performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel, and with the Bavarian Radio Orchestra, conducted by Daniele Gatti.
