About
Seohyun Kim from South Korea, the youngest winner of the Tibor Varga Competition 2023, had already performed as a soloist with orchestras by the age of eight. Seohyun also emerged as the youngest winner in several international competitions, including the Ysaÿe International Music Competition, the Leonid Kogan International Competition for Young Violinists, and the Thomas and Evon Cooper Violin Competition in 2022. She made her solo recital debut as a Kumho Prodigy Artist at the age of 12, and has performed with the Pannon Philharmonic in Hungary, the Canton Symphony Orchestra in the U.S., the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra in Sion, the Bursa State Symphony Orchestra in Türkiye, and many renowned orchestras in South Korea, including the Seoul Philharmonic Orch estra. She is currently studying with Sunny Lee at the Seoul Central Conservatory.
