Tibor Junior - First round - Results
Congratulations to all of the participants who performed during the first round of the Tibor Junior International Violin Competition. Each and every candidate should be proud of their performance, and we hope that everyone enjoyed the experience of playing with an orchestra.
We are pleased to announce that the following candidates have been selected to perform in the second round:

– Qingzhu Weng (China)
– Irina Casasnovas Jilobokov (Costa Rica / USA)
– Arthur Traelnes (Switzerland)
– Ju Seon Kim (South Korea)
– Masha Lakisova (USA)
In addition, we would also like to congratulate the recipients of the following awards:
« Best interpretation of the Avro Part‘s Passacaglia » (CHF 500) – Qingzhu Weng and Svitlana Klinkova.
« Best interpretation of one Antonio Lucio Vivaldi‘s ‘quattro stagioni' » (CHF 300) – Sofia Manvati
Candidates who were not selected to perform in the next round will now join the Youth Jury for the second round and finale of the competition.
Last but not least, we would like to thank Benjamin Gilmore and the HEMU Orchestra for accompanying and supporting each of the candidates.
